The two highlights in this list were fairly obvious - Neil Young on 11th March and 6th July. Thank you very much Mr. Young! And then, at the end of this glorious year of music, 5th, 6th and 7th November represented an orgasm of Mercury Rev!!! Three nights, three cities, three amazing concerts back to back with Revery all the way...Oh and a trip to London on 12th August to see Jenny Owen Youngs play live in the only pub I know in Camden was very cool, as was Jim White on 28th July in Chester, a new city added to my ever-growing list of musical destinations. All in all, 2008 was my busiest year for going to concerts. It's unlikely I'll do quite so many in 2009 or beyond, but you never know!
